About
Fire / CCTV Systems
Developed to detect fires promptly as they grow, fire detection systems are an extremely valuable fire protection tool for any establishment. Early detection is crucial in the protection of first responders and other emergency response personnel as they combat fires.
With fire detection systems, appropriately loss can also be significantly reduced. Downtime for business operations can be decreased. Fire control efforts can get started while the fire is not massive yet.
Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
For fire detection systems to be ultimately effective, they should be integrated with alarm systems. Fire alarms play an important role in notifying the building occupants or residential inhabitants that there’s a fire emergency. Most fire alarms also send a signal to a central monitoring station that can either be on or off-site. Otherwise, alarms directly transmit a message to the local fire department.
Commercial fires are a serious threat with Fire and Rescue Services (FRS) in the country
Due to this ever-looming risk, it is important to protect all commercial properties including offices, hospitals, schools, hotels, shopping malls, retail stores, farms, factories, warehouses, and garages.
The best way to go about this is by adopting fire safety practices that involve risk assessment and management in the form of commercial fire alarm systems.
In the event of a fire, a fire alarm is capable of alerting everyone in the premises to evacuate immediately and more importantly,
This not only protects valuable life and property but is also a requirement laid out by the law. According to the Ghanaian government, you are responsible for fire safety on your commercial premises if you are the owner, employer, landlord, occupier, or anyone in a controlling position.
Early Fire Detection
These systems can be set up in zones with each initiating device linked to the control panel on its own wire. When the alarm is triggered, the system can help identify the location of the fire by identifying the zone on the system.
However, these zones are broad and do not give the exact location of the fire. For example, if a commercial building has four floors and each floor is a different zone, a conventional fire alarm would help identify the floor that the fire erupted in, but not where exactly on the floor the threat is.
These are ideal for small commercial properties such as individual offices and retail shops and are much less expensive than addressable fire alarms.
Choosing a Detection System
If you’re wondering where to start when selecting a fire detection system for your establishment, take a look at your fire safety and protection objectives. Your objectives must have stemmed from a comprehensive risk assessment of your property and business operations. You must also factor in your forbearance for risk, how much risk you can take, and how you’re going to be dealing with it.
For instance, the fire safety and protection objectives of a hospital or assisted living facility are going to be the difference from an industrial warehouse. In healthcare establishments, people will not be able to evacuate by themselves.

Data Centre Fire Protection
Fires represent a serious financial threat to businesses. Data Centre fires could significantly disrupt communications service and ultimately slash revenues, and effect immeasurable negative impact on consumer confidence in your service.
Due to the concentration of equipment and data in a Data Centre, the degree of potential damage that could occur from both a fire and conventional fire-extinguishing systems is unacceptable.
Fire suppression systems have been saving lives and protecting assets like industrial equipment, financial records, historical sites, server rooms, and more for ages. Some use gaseous suppression agents to prevent fire instantly and mitigate damage significantly.
When it comes to industrial fire suppression systems, there is no one-size-fits-all as they use various kinds of gases to suppress the fire, including:
- Clean Agent Gas (FM200, Novec1230, ETC)
- Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
- Inert Gases
- Halon
You might be wondering; what type of fire suppression system is perfect for your premises? Below, we will shed light on each different type of system to help you gain a better understanding of the options.
Types of Fire Suppression Systems

Clean Agents
Clean agent fire suppression systems may use different types of gases. Two examples of these gasses are HFC-227ea (FM-200) and FK-5-1-12 (Novec 1230).
One great advantage of clean agents is that they will not damage any delicate instruments or electrical components. They are considered an effective solution for preventing fire near irreplaceable assets like servers, computers, and other valuable equipment.
Another important advantage is that they can be safely used in occupied spaces. While some systems require a network of piping and nozzles, more modern designs feature modular units for ease of installation.
Cylinder sizes can be selected based on the volume of the room or area being protected. The amount of agent needed or (agent poundage) can also be tailored for a more precise fit.
Various aspects can cause a data centre fire, which is why data centre managers need to be thoughtful about their fire suppression systems. If there is a false alarm and a traditional sprinkler system goes off all of the servers could potentially be damaged by the water released into the data center. A clean agent suppression system is designed to protect irreplaceable assets and the people within the business (Data Center or Power Rooms). Clean agent systems are ideal for protecting Data Centre, Power Rooms, Servers (Racks Space), Electronics Installations, Cell Sites, Archives, and Even Artwork Storage Rooms.
If you’re looking for a data centre service, make sure to get in touch with us to provide the right solution type of fire suppression system to meet your need.
Fire Hydrant
A fire hydrant is a vertical steel pipe with an outlet, close to which two fire hoses are stored. During a fire, firefighters will go to the outlet, break open the hoses, attach one to the outlet, and manually open it so that water rushes out of the nozzle of the hose. The quantity and speed of the water is so great that it can knock over the firefighter holding the hose if he is not standing in the correct way. As soon as the fire fighter opens the hydrant, water will gush out, and sensors will detect a drop in pressure in the system. This drop in pressure will trigger the fire pumps to turn on and start pumping water at a tremendous flow rate

Fire Sprinkler System
A sprinkler is a nozzle attached to a network of pipes, and installed just below the ceiling of a room. Every sprinkler has a small glass bulb with a liquid in it. This bulb normally blocks the flow of water. In a fire, the liquid in the bulb will become hot. It will then expand, and shatter the glass bulb, removing the obstacle and causing water to spray from the sprinkler. The main difference between a hydrant and a sprinkler is that a sprinkler will come on automatically in a fire. A fire hydrant has to be operated manually by trained firefighters.
Important Note
Whatever fire alarm and detection systems you choose, it’s important to note that these systems need monthly, annually, and semi-annually inspection, care, and maintenance. Know what the requirements in your local jurisdiction and make sure that you comply with them. Servicing this system are very important as installing them.
This system will provide full protection for the facilities and its sounding
Every company needs to prioritize security and get business security camera systems. After all, how can you be successful if you can’t safeguard your assets?
With business security camera systems that offer computer-like services like motion sensors, remote viewing, and mobile notifications, video surveillance systems are more intelligent and effective than ever. With the click of a button, some devices can even alert police enforcement immediately.
More effective recording and storing methods have also resulted from business security camera system technological advancements. Small business owners can access extremely powerful surveillance equipment at quite low costs. If you’re looking for a video surveillance system but don’t know where to start, our business security camera systems buyer’s guide can help.
Business CCTV System & Integration
A CCTV uses cameras and monitors to record events happening around the premises and display them in real-time to be used for surveillance.
By integrating CCTV cameras with commercial fire alarm systems, security experts monitoring the systems will not only be able to respond to the alarm trigger but also visually investigate the scene of the threat through CCTV footage.
This will make things much easier and will immensely help them determine whether to call the fire department or not (in case of a false alarm).
Sometimes, communication between the monitoring staff and the occupants of a building under fire is very important to ensure everyone’s safety

Business Access Control Installation
An access control represents a secure way to give staff, customers and visitors access to your building. Where keys can be lost or stolen, an access control system operated via intercom, proximity fob or card, keypad or even a biometric system offers a very flexible security system that allows you to set access permissions for individuals and track movements in and out of your premises.
The purpose of biometric access control is to grant entrance to a building or office only to those who are authorized to be there. You should definitely control who passes through your door and also find ways to monitor and manage access. Keys have now passed the baton to fingerprint access control systems. Provide quick, convenient access to authorized persons while denying access to everyone else, with state-of-the-art data recovery of who came in, who went where and at what time.

Biometric Time Attendance (Clocking in Device): It may seem difficult to manage your employees, compliance, and labour costs. However, that need not to be the case. Our Clocking in Device helps you with this. In addition, encourage employees to be on time and increase productivity. With our biometric time attendance, you can remote in from any location and check who’s at work! Print monthly, weekly or even daily reports! This will avoid the need for manual timecards. All the time is collected electronically, with the calculations are done for you.

Business Security System – Metal Detectors and Scanners

Metal Detectors – Walk Through Detector: Walk-through and hand-held metal detectors have become commonplace at schools, universities, event venues, government buildings and businesses in major City and across the world. Their increase in popularity is due to the technology advances that make them an excellent component of any security system, as well as their ability to help proactively prevent losses versus react to them.
Most metal detectors use either pulse or continuous wave technology. In short, a surge of electricity is passed through a copper wire coil, which creates an electromagnetic field. As metal passes through this field, sensors detect the reflected magnetic field from these metal objects. This magnetic field then reacts with the receiver coil, which, in turn, triggers the alarm.
Baggage Scanners– When X-Rays are used for security purposes the machines have been designed with precision to ensure that they are safe for business use. For example, a cabinet security scanner contains an X-ray tube installed within a shielded enclosure. The enclosure is made up of a material, usually lead, that prevents most of the X-ray radiation from escaping the cabinet.

Traffic Boom, Barria & Turnstiles

Boom Barrier- There are plenty of benefits of opting for a barrier and gate security. In addition to providing an extra layer of security, it aids in helping with crowd control while preventing thieves and burglars from entering your business or domestic property. Boom barrier play a pivotal role in ensuring security where there is a high level of risk involved in the form of unauthorized entry because of a large flow of visitors.

The spike barrier is designed to offer protection in both directions on entry and exit. The compact design allows for the minimum of excavation work and simplifies the installation. The spike barrier can be configured in the following ways: boom stays down on power failure and spikes remain up, or boom opens on power failure and spike will lower on power failure.
Tripod Turnstiles – Installing Tripod turnstile becomes quite comfortable and hassle-free for industrial areas, Exhibitions, supermarkets, metro, and public transports. By Tripod turnstile installation at the crowded place, traffic of the people can be managed quite easily in a systematic manner automatically
